I'm Nicola, a Spanish-born, Italian-based computer science student.

I'm a full-stack and Python developer in my first year at Politecnico di Milano, pursuing a bachelors' in Computer Science and Engineering.
Aside from coding, I'm passionate about music and languages. I currently speak:

Medquizz is a platform that helps medical students prepare for their exams. It provides tools to test yourself, as well as to train on past mistakes, and an "explain my mistake" with Claude. The platform was built for aspiring med students, to help them prepare for the entry exam in Italy. We gained 2k logged users.

Deepscribes is a student platform that helps students in the process of transcribing their lectures. It's not just a powerful speech-to-text, but it also provides a set of tools to interact with the lecture, such as editing, highlighting, and much more.

I worked as a freelancer in Replit, completing 19 bounties with a perfect average rating.
Some of the projects I worked on include:

• A trivia quiz bot for kids
• An online drug comparison tool with data from the FDA
• A website for Global Savings Group that visualizes data on a spreadsheet on a user-friendly website
• And many other scripts, scrapers and webapps.

Discord message scraper

A powerful bot that scrapes messages from a Discord server, avoiding rate limits and saving them in a PostgreSQL database. It is able to scrape 1.5 million messages per day, and giving precedence to the most recent messages.

FDA drug scraper

A web scraper that reads information about 210'000 drugs from fda.gov, normalizes the data and puts it all together to make them comparable.

NBA scores scraper

A web scraper that reads NBA scores and uploads them into a Google Sheets document.

Trivia AI Generator for kids

A ChatGPT-powered website that creates trivia questions around a given topic. Made for kids, with a colorful and playful theme.

Hobby project made to assist students in rating their teachers based on strictness and other criteria. It is intended for Italian students, who are assigned teachers from different schools for their diploma exams, allowing them to gauge in advance how strict these teachers might be.
